Summary

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST with the Executive Support Staff of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Position serves as the Deputy Director, Honolulu-Pacific Federal Executive Board, detached to the Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole Federal Building, 300 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Duties

Help
  • You will plan, coordinate, implement and oversee all activities associated with the emergency management functions of the Honolulu-Pactific Federal Executive Board (HPFEB).
  • You will conduct detailed analyses and studies of problems and issues impacting the Federal and non-Federal communities in the Honolulu-Pacific AOR.
  • You will manage designed HPFEB programs, including retirement planning seminars, Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) workshops, Federal benefits seminars, employee/intern recruitment fairs, Health Benefits Open Season health fairs sponsored by OPM.
  • You will be the co-vice project manager for the HPFEB Annual Excellence in Federal Government Awards Program, which is the largest such federal event held annually, including coordinating 6 training sessions and an Agency Expo.
  • You will assist various councils/committee members and resource partners with planning, resource allocation, program implementation, performance management and process improvement.
  • You will recruit candidates, which is comprised of high school/college students, interview prospective students, assign their work, monitor progress and review student's successes and failures.
  • You will design, develop and maintain web-based information on all assigned HPFEB committes, programs and events.
  • You will plan and implement a broad range of communication media to promote HPFEB programs, services and events, interpret regulations, research local and national data, analyze HPFEB member feedback.
  • You will serve as the assistant project manager for the HPFEB's Pacific Leadership Academy Emerging and Senior Leaders programs.
  • You will recommend and design new HPFEB services based on annual needs assessment, in cooperation with agency heads, and represent the HPFEB in interactions with the top-level Federal Executives.
  • You will work with officials from state and local governments, private industry and not-for-profit organizations on a regular basis.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning or coordinating the training for federal agencies ( e.g. retirement planning or emergency management functions, health seminars) utilizing various communication media.
