Summary

This position is a Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Financial Manager (Support Services) position at Installation Operations Columbus D,FMWR Office.

This is a regular full-time (RFT) position, which guarantees 40 hours per week. Duties

Help

As the Financial Manager (Support Services) the incumbent is responsible for:

1. Analyzing the monthly and yearly results of accounting transactions upon the financial posture of a small to medium installation MWR.
2. Developing and formulating the annual operating budget to include the five- year plan and narrative.
3. Serving as the technical expert in the matters of financial resources.
4. Planning, directing, and coordinating support services operations involving centralized distribution, warehousing, maintenance, supply, information services, training, marketing and advertising in support of NAF activities.
5. Evaluating financial statements and prepares recurring financial reports for presentation to the fund manager and the site director/installation commander.

1. Submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
2. Occasionally overnight travel required.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

Two years specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level in a Financial Management activity, such as office, division, etc., conducting internal reviews on or auditing subordinate activities financials; assisting in the development and formulation of an annual budget, including the five year plan and narratives; and preparing recurring financial reports.


The position has highly qualified criteria. Candidates who meet the highly qualified criteria may be referred before applicants who only meet the minimum qualifications, notwithstanding required preference categories.

HIGHLY QUALIFIED CRITERIA:
Candidates will be considered highly qualified if the specialized experience was gained in a Department of Defense Nonappropriated Fund Financial Management activity.

Education

There is no positive education requirement, nor can education substituted to meet minimum qualifications.

Additional information
