Duties

Help
  • Conduct analysis of mission requirements to determine manpower and equipment requirements.
  • Assess the level of manpower support for incorporation into the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) process.
  • Manage manpower (military and civilian) modeling for the organization.
  • Develop concept plans for Command organizational requirements
  • Manage equipment resourcing through the equipment validation process.
  • Document unit's manpower/equipment requirements for the Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) and Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA's)

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE - You must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance based on SSBI with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • DRUG TESTING -This position is a testing designated position (TDP) in accordance with (IAW) Drug Free Federal Workplace Program. You will agree to submit to urinalysis testing on a recurring basis. You are required to sign a DA Form 5019 form.
  • POLYGRAPH - You must be willing to take and successfully pass a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI/Poly).
  • TDY - Requires approximately 5% or more TDY (temporary business travel).
  • SHIFT WORK: This is a 24x7 position, and is subject to rotating shift work including nights, weekends and holidays.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:Conducting studies of work/management systems; Establishing requirements to determine manpower needs through the use of system techniques; Analyzing equipping requirements to support the Command; Maintaining the Tables of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) for an organization.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
