Summary

The Directorate of Support (DS) provides everything the CIA needs to accomplish its critical mission of defending our nation. The DS provides business operations support to Agency components including all aspects of security, logistics, facilities, finance, education, medical services and human resources. As a Clinical Psychologist for the CIA, you will work with highly motivated individuals locally and in an international theatre. Building off your already established clinical competence and desire for continuous learning, you will have the chance to learn additional clinical and operational skills.

Occasional domestic travel is required and overseas travel is possible.

As part of our team you will receive excellent benefits and a variety of medical and non-medical training will be provided. Sign on incentives and moving expenses are reimbursed.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • US citizenship required (dual national US citizens are eligible).
  • All positions require relocation to the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
  • All applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview, and a comprehensive background investigation.
  • All applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs within the last twelve months. The issue of illegal drug use prior to twelve months ago is carefully evaluated during the medical and security processing.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from an APA accredited institution.
  • Active state license in clinical psychology.
  • At least five (5) years postdoctoral experience.
  • Experience in counseling, forensic psychology, consulting psychology, or employment assessment.
  • Skilled in interviewing, psychological evaluation, and report writing.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in forensic psychology, neuropsychology, consulting psychology, and/or employment assessments.
  • Experience traveling or living overseas.

Education
