Performs as a Librarian in the Cataloging and Metadata Services Branch of the U.S. Army War College Library, U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center. Performs original and modified descriptive cataloging and classification of contemporary and historical military sources in all formats.

Specialized experience: To Qualify applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-07). Specialized experience is defined as: knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of librarianship; or knowledge of specialized information sources including the structure, content, and access protocols of relevant databases to respond to reference and research queries.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must meet the Time in Grade Restriction.
Time in Grade Restriction: Must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade (or equivalent).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education or master's in library science or equivalent graduate degree, e.g., LL.B. or J.D., related to the position
Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying
