The incumbent for this position may be eligible to apply for the Education Debt Reduction Program
The position is for a board eligible, board certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician who will be responsible for delivery of primary care to patients enrolled at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center or one of its Community Based Outpatient Clinics including Wyoming, MI.
Physical Requirements: Heavy Lifting (45 lbs and over); Heavy Carrying (45 lbs and over); Straight Pulling (up to 4 hours); Pushing (up to 4 hours); Reaching above shoulder; Use of fingers; Both hands required; Walking (up to 8 hours); Standing (up to 8 hours); Repeated bending (up to 2 hours); Both legs required; Ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously; Near vision correctable at 13" to 16"; Far vision correctable in one eye to 20/20 and to 20/40 in the other; Both eyes required; ability to distinguish basic colors; Hearing (aid permitted); Mental and emotional stability.
