Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology customer support services. Participates in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services to the organization. Identifies and resolves issues and problems. Prepares and updates manuals, instructions, and operating procedures. Provides information and assistance to customers including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting. Evaluates established methods and procedures and prepares recommendations for changes in methods and practices where appropriate. Presents formal and informal training to customers. Reports, responds to and resolves customer requests. Applies information security and information assurance policy,
principles and practices
Successfully initiate/complete and maintain all required background checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a security Investigation (ADPIII), a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) and FBI Fingerprints Check.
Travel to on and off post locations may be required for training and other purposes.

Minimum Qualifications:
Work experience, education, and/or specialized intensive training sufficient to demonstrate IT knowledge and skill in:
- Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services;
- Installing, configuring, upgrading and trouble shooting hardware and software components;
- Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers;
- Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests.
Qualifying education is graduate education in one of the following fields of study: computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, or technology management, or has provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
To qualify under the education criteria, the applicant must submit official college transcripts with your application that indicates field of study, course tittle and date degree was awarded. Failure to provide required/supporting documents at time of application may result in an ineligible status.
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred Criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others will be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list. The following criteria will be used as Highly Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to meeting the above minimum qualifications, to be considered as a Highly Preferred, the applicant must possess BOTH of the following certifications:
1) CompTIA Security +
2) MCSA Windows Server 2008 R2 or 2012 R2
