This is not an entry level position. The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge of the operations and dynamics of legislative activities, knowledge of and/ or experience with U.S trade laws and with Congress's role in the formulation and implementations of U.S. trade policies, knowledge of economics, knowledge of the appropriations and budget process, bipartisan relationships, and significant professional experience interacting with members of Congress and their staffs. This position also requires the ability to think strategically and express advice clearly in both written and verbal communications.
