THE LOGISTICS CAREER FIELD MAY
UTILIZE DEVELOPMENT TEAM VECTORS TO FILL LOGISTICS CAREER BROADENING VACANCIES.
Career Broadening positions are centrally funded and
managed by AFPC/DP2Z. Positions are established specifically to provide
developmental experience designed to broaden the skills and/or enhance the
leadership perspective of a high-potential, mid-level
manager/executive.
Career Broadening also provides executive training
and developmental opportunities in a Major Command or staff environment. These
assignments offer the qualified candidate a unique assignment in that the
candidates brings certain experience to the assignment, while gaining new
experiences in a different work environment.
Duties:
- Perform career broadening assignments in working with other logistics
management specialists, planning, organizing, and directing logistics support
for installations.
- Serves as a team member for performing career broadening assignments
involved in programming, prioritizing and defending key logistics programs in
support of warfighting objectives of the Air Force.
- Carries out special projects and assignments designed specifically to
meet the broadening intent of the position.
Mobility agreement must be signed as mobility is a condition of employment

OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS:
1. Mobility is a

4. This is a developmental position and will rotate from AFIMSC Installation Support Directorate (IZ) to the following offices during the program: Resource Directorate (RM) and Expeditionary Support Directorate (XZ).

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
One year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the
particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to successfully perform the
duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to
be filled. To be creditable, the specialized experience must have been at
the GS-12 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal
service.
