Assists the DHS HQ Fleet/Transportation Program Managers in all aspects of motor vehicle transportation management.
Provides assistance with the daily operations of other administrative functions, including motor pool updates, mileage reporting and fuel consumption.
Reviews data associated with transportation requests to ensure maximum economic efficiency and utilization of vehicles.
Analyzes management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems, including systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology.

One full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-7 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) which required them to perform the following duties: 1) ensuring the proper maintenance, rotation, and disposal of vehicles; entering and retrieving information or historical records using a database system; and 3) maintaining records for each vehicle mileage, repairs, maintenance work, and other expenses. Completed a Master's degree or two (2) full years of graduate level study (36 semester units or the number of units your school uses to describe two graduate years of academic study) leading to a Master's degree or LL.B., J.D., in business administration, finance, accounting, statistics, math, or another directly related field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this work. Have a combination of graduate education and specialized experience as described in "A" and "B" above. Completed a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or equivalent doctoral degree, or three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education (54 semester units or equivalent) leading to a Ph.D. in business administration, public administration, economics, management, or another directly related field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this work.
