The Office of Personnel Management is looking for a dynamic and energetic leader to join their Senior Executive Service (SES) Corps. The Senior Executive Service (SES) is comprised of the men and women charged with leading the continuing transformation of government. These leaders possess well-honed executive skills and share a broad perspective of government and a public service commitment which is grounded in the Constitution.
The incumbent of this position serves as the Deputy to the Assistant Inspector General for Management (AIGM). The incumbent of this position is responsible for providing services to the Office of the Inspector General (IG), which enables the office to carry out its mission, authorities, and responsibilities under the Inspector General Act of 1978 (PL 95-452). The incumbent has responsibility to participate fully in the direction of Information Technology Management, Financial Management, and the Human Capital Management of the Office of the OIG, Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The incumbent also develops and executes the OIG's various policies and reporting requirements. In addition, the incumbent directs an operational unit responsible for the administrative sanctions and disbarment actions of health care providers who participate with the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP).
