Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Exercising full supervisory responsibility over subordinate positions such as establishing priorities and assigning work.
Providing expert advice and guidance to agency management on the Employee Medical Programs, Fitness for-Duty, Limited Duty, Drug Free Workplace and Workers Compensation Program issues.
Assisting the Office of General Counsel as an expert witness by providing testimony during trials, hearings an depositions in addition to assisting in the preparation of interrogatories.
Developing and implementing health and medical program policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with all Federal, Department of Justice (DOJ) and agency regulations.
Managing nurses in addition to other administrative professionals who monitor and work towards ensuring law enforcement employees of the Agency are medically fit for duty.
Must pass a pre-employment security investigation and drug screening.
A one year trial/probationary period may be required.
May be required to successfully complete a supervisory probationary period.
