The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
Manage and supervise resources, direct operations, provide quality customer service, and oversee the maintenance of a flexible, robust, and survivable work infrastructure (voice and data) to maximize business continuity and support the mission and strategic planning for the United States Mint.
Provide expert technical assistance to local information technology staff and end users on issues related to a variety of information technology disciplines, such as Internet, network, operating systems, data management, customer support and security.
Provide assistance throughout the agency in terms of consulting about the use of hardware devices, configurations and software packages, designs, and technical problems.
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

GS-13 You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
