Summary

- Install, configure and maintain analytical applications such as SAS, Stata, R, Matlab and Polypaths/ALM in a hybrid cloud environment on multiple operating system platforms.
- Assist with the secure transfer of financial data to/from the Agency using a variety of platforms and software products.
- Assist with the administration of the Agency's financial analysis software, financial modeling programs and business intelligence/analytics reporting solutions.
- Assist with the administration, maintenance and upgrades of the Agency's Data Warehouse hardware and software environment.
- Assist with the administration, maintenance and upgrades of the Agency's Backup and Recovery system.
- Assist with the administration, maintenance and upgrades of the Agency's Storage Area Network (SAN) and replicated data topologies.
- Provide all levels of customer support in a multi-platform, highly technical, financial analysis, modeling and reporting environment.
- Work with Amazon Web Services and other cloud-based technologies and ability to integrate cloud services into a hybrid cloud architecture.
- Work with Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux and Oracle Solaris operating systems in both a virtualized and bare metal environment.
- Assist with ongoing IT Security audits, FISMA and NIST compliance scanning and remediation efforts.
You must have, within the previous 2 years, completed all educational requirements for a qualifying associates, bachelors, masters, professional, or doctorate from a qualifying institution.

Qualifying experience for the EL/GS 09 level includes a Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management.
OR
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management and one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to EL-07 (GS-07) which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT degree, as appropriate.
