The Office of Inspector General is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person to serve as an Auditor in the Office of Audits and Inspections who is fully knowledgeable of accounting, cost accounting, auditing principles and contract management in order to manage and coordinate the systematic examination, on a nationwide basis, of the financial records, reports, management controls, policies, and practices affecting or reflecting the financial condition of Department of Energy organizations and activities, contractors, grantees, including state and local government, laboratories, universities, and private industrial and business operations.
50% or less - This position requires occasional travel (30%).
