As an Assistant Inspector General for Audits and Inspections you will be responsible for providing direction, guidance, and staff supervision for audits and inspections conducted by the Office of Audits and Inspections; identifying, developing, and justifying staffing requirements; hiring, evaluating, and providing employee development to staff; providing development, support, and oversight of audits and inspections operations; preparing information on audit and inspections activities for incorporation into annual reports and for special reports requested by Congress; coordinating and administering the Government Performance and Results Act audit work; and coordinating special reviews, and preparing any testimony and briefings related to the work done by the Office of Audits and Inspections.
