Duties

Help
  • You will consult with customers to identify and specify requirements.
  • You will diagnose and resolves multiple levels of customer reported incidents.
  • You will analyze system requirements in response to new or future business requirements, risks, and costs.
  • You will develop desk guides and process instructions to document Computer Aided Technologies and Computer Aided Design requirements and post on Information Technology and Cyber Security home page for customer use.
  • You will utilize the customer request/reporting system to identify trends and develop metrics.
  • You will research, evaluate, and report on trends and patterns of customer reported issues.
  • You will ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of customer support service in accordance with command guidance.
  • You will provide technical support to the Computer Aided Engineering and Manufacturing community, performing work necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain and modify systems.
  • You will collaborate across organizational departments and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot CAD/CAM application issues.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Work may be performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
  • Must have the ability to lift and carry items estimated weight up to 50 lbs. or less.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (411), proficiency level intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • Must be able to climb ladders.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluating and diagnosing customer reported information technology issues related to Computer Aided Design or Computer Aided Manufacturing applications to find resolution of problems to ensure optimal program operations. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving).
