Duties

Help
  • Serves as Automotive Detailer performing duties independently or as a member of a work crew in an auto craft shop.
  • Maintains, adjusts, cleans,lubricates and changes attachments on vehicle cleaning equipment. Washes and waxes vehicles using ladders and high pressure sprayers.
  • Usesindustrial cleaners to clean, protect, and deodorize vehicle interiors, windows, mirrors, and fixtures. Makes minor cosmetic repairs to vehicles.
  • Mows grass, trims and edges walkways and lawns. Shovels snow from walks and driveways.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
FWS Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
  • All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
  • Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.

  • Incentives will not be paid.
