This position requires the incumbent to have Tuberculosis testing.
Moderate to heavy lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Custodial Worker ~ without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform common custodial duties such as sweeping and mopping floors to remove stains and debris. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

Physical Effort: Grade 2 Custodial Workers must be able to move and control heavy equipment, carry, and set up ladders. Frequently they must lift and move objects weighing 40 pounds and may occasionally be required to lift and move objects weighing over 50 pounds.
Working Conditions: Custodial Workers at Grade 2 usually work indoors in areas with adequate heat, light, and ventilation. They are exposed to vibration from heavy equipment and to skin irritation from strong cleaning solutions used in stripping floors. Care is required to avoid serious injuries when working on ladders and scaffolds and when using heavy powered equipment. Work outdoors is required when taking out trash.
