Summary

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Assist patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instructions, guiding trail rides, demonstrating new or unusual hobby techniques, and answering facility questions.
Ensures that proper mounts (horses) are assigned to patrons, maintains general cleanliness of main house/barn, and assists in preparing horses for customer use by saddling/bridling/grooming/etc.
Mows grass, trims and edges walkways, waters plants, and cleans out drainage ditches; moves material using wheelbarrows, hand trucks or dollies, stacks and arranges supplies for storage.
Works independently following proper safety procedures and performs simple maintenance on equipment.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.

Qualifications
Must be able to ride, saddle and handle horses. Must be ability to follow instructions to clean and condition riding supplies and equipment. Must be able to operate a lawnmower, use rakes and similar tools and equipment. Must have a valid state driver's license to operate vehicle.

PCS Costs

FWS Allowances and Differentials
This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
