Provides supervision to and through subordinate staff and supervisors to military, civilian, and contract staff.
Provides daily oversight of all functions related to supporting the EOP, OVP, NSC, USSS, and WHMO and their staffs, including direct telecommunications support to the President, Vice President and First Lady.
Formulates policy/procedures, operational mission planning/execution, frequency management, logistics support of deployments, and financial/budgetary planning, for travel and emergency actions mission support, and any required training associated.
Serves as staff advisor/authority on Presidential telecommunications, and operational matters.
Provides Operational direction developing strategy, deadlines, priorities, risk assessment and objectives to support Emergency Action initiatives and classified projects.
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as experience in exercising managerial planning and engineering of telecommunications operations, resource allocations such as audio-visual services, risk assessment, and program objectives to support emergency action initiatives and sensitive projects.
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.
