Analyze business, organizational and/or operational requirements to support the business needs of stakeholders including the Defense Health Agency (DHA), the Department of the Army, Air Force and Navy.
Train analysts to develop solutions driven by requirements and supported by data to include statistical analysis, data visualization, research design and decision support in order to improve decision making at all levels of the organization.
Oversee the teams and individuals supporting Defense Health Networks, Military Treatment Facilities service lines, programs, or lines of effort.
Oversee performance of statistical studies, complex retrievals of medical and business data, develop presentations, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, to include Defense Health Agency leadership.
Provide consultant services to other organizations requesting complex data extraction and analyses to include Military Health System Mart (M2), Medical Data Repository (MDR) Data, and other data source queries and programming questions.
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Basic Requirements: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes, analyzing healthcare financial data for efficiency; assisting in overseeing the performance of statistical studies within the Military Healthcare System; and utilizing specialized visualization tools and software to integrate data and display analysis in a meaningful array. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
