Help
  • As project manager serves as primary point of contact for assigned responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, execution of assigned projects and District resources.
  • Project Development and Planning: Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned projects.
  • Controls and manages project milestones and budgets from project inception to closeout.
  • The incumbent is responsible for providing complete and accurate schedules and budgetary data for projects in a timely manner.
  • Project Manager is responsible to lead the product delivery team, either in house or Architect-Engineer firm, in the execution of design and construction for assigned projects.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Specialized experience for the GS-11. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the federal service which includes:
1. Experience working on military projects; Or
2. Experience managing military project milestones, quality and/or budget from initiation through construction and initial operations

Specialized experience for the GS-12. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the federal service which includes:
1. Experience working on military projects; Or
2. Experience managing military project milestones, quality and budget from initiation through construction and initial operations; Or
3. Experience with coordinating multidisciplinary teams and sponsor/customer requirements and communicating project progress, issues and impacts.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
