Duties

Help
  • You will serve as the organizational subject matter expert (SME) on classified and unclassified taskings.
  • Support the operation, management and execution of two distinctly different tasking systems (the Enterprise Task Management System (ETMS2) and the Software Engineering Environment (SE2) / Jira Task Management System).
  • Manage the stakeholder business and mission areas for the staffing, coordination, and routing of the Army Material Command SACO tasks.
  • Serve as the Software (SW) Release Coordinator, managing the software release process and workflows, to navigate the SW repository.
  • The incumbent will perform Army Stationing and Installation Planning.
  • Identifies where program or personnel adjustments are needed.
  • Interviews and recommends selections for vacant positions.
  • Leads teams and functional working groups to improve organizational effectiveness.

  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
  • This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for the duration of employment.
  • A one-year supervisory probation period is required unless requirements have previously been met.
  • Commensurate with mission requirements, the incumbent can be required to work irregular duty hours to include working nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). Acquisition Corps Membership is no longer required for Critical Acquisition Positions (CAP). CAP selectees must execute a 3-year tenure agreement.

Basic Requirement for Supervisory Management Analyst:

Specialized and Other Experience: To qualify for this position, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (DE-02 or GS-11) or equivalent pay band in the Federal service which includes 1) Support the plans/objectives for the Stationing or Installation Planning Program; 2) Review the strategic/operational aspects of business/mission areas for the staffing, coordination, or routing of tasks for a tasking system; AND 3) Establish project goals or priorities for a supported program.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower pay band/grade level position in the federal service (DE-02/GS-11).

Additional Information:

  • This position is covered under an alternative personnel system known as the Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratory Management Demonstration Project. The Demonstration replaces GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The salary range of the position being filled will not be decreased with the change to pay bands. This position, DE-03, incorporates GS-12 step 1 through GS-14 step 10 grade and salary levels.
