Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE GS-04: Your resume must demonstrate 6 months of general experience defined as (1) Any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position, or (2) experience that provided a familiarity with the subject matter or processes of the broad subject area of the occupation. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least 6 months of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Utilizing routine operations and procedures; 2)Operating a computer and 3)General knowledge of safety practices.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Utilizing laboratory operations, procedures, and record systems; 2) Measuring liquid and liquid transfers using laboratory equipment; 3)Maintaining sample identification and inventory control using manual methods or computer technology; 4) Utilizing laboratory requirements and standardized operational procedures; and 5)Utilizing laboratory safety procedures.
