This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14/15.Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.

Help
  • Serves as the Technical Lead in the ARAT-PO Aviation Electromagnetic Warfare (AEW) branch.
  • Leads cross-functional teams in the planning and evaluation of best strategies to accomplish ARAT-AEW mission requirements in support of reprogramming efforts as defined by Army aviation user community.
  • Plans, organizes, and oversees requirements for AEW customers.
  • Plans, organizes, and oversees action items for all AEW reprogramming cases.
  • Coordinates and approves all mission data software requirements with AEW customers at TCM.
  • Investigates, plans, and oversees ARAT-AEW Infrastructure Enhancement (IE) efforts.
  • Plans and oversees contractor travel for ARAT-AEW missions.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined:(1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. AND

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-03). Specialized experience is defined as: 1)monitoring Information Technology (IT) project schedules to ensure the successful life cycle management of products 2) conducting analysis and system design activities during the development, systems integration or acquisition of software and hardware in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs and 3) implementing modifications or solutions to computer systems to reduce associated risk factors.
