This position is located at the United States Mint in the Sales and Marketing Directorate, Budget and Administration Branch. As a Supervisory Program Manager, you will be formulating, executing, justifying, presenting, and maintaining the directorate budget, reviewing major acquisitions and proposals for SAM.

This position is located at the United States Mint in the Sales and Marketing Directorate, Budget and Administration Branch. As a Supervisory Program Manager, you will be formulating, executing, justifying, presenting, and maintaining the directorate budget, reviewing major acquisitions and proposals for SAM.
All candidates who are:
(1) Current United States Mint employees who are qualifying as Status Eligibles or currently serving on a Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA),
(2) CTAP eligible.
Ensure that incorporated technology is technically sound and provides the greatest degree of compatibility with existing or planned U.S. Mint information systems
Guarantee that contracting processes and needed contracting documents are prepared and administered to effectively utilize outside technical expertise on U.S. Mint national projects and initiatives
Prepare appropriate justification for SAM and other assigned national projects and related budget initiatives
Prepare and maintain SAM tactical and operational plans for national projects or systems, and advises SAM management on funding and coordination requirements
Prepare and administer inter-agency agreements with other government organizations and oversight agencies in support of national projects and initiatives

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. -Communicating in writing and orally to present technical findings to varied audiences, exchanging ideas, defending rationale, presenting recommendations, and negotiating solutions to issues; AND
-Managing project activities to include planning, controlling, monitoring, scheduling, assigning, and reporting project efforts; AND
-Formulating, executing, justifying, presenting, and maintaining an organization budget.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
