Provides expert technical assistance to USAID Missions on agrifood market systems factors, such as access to finance, that affect agrifood businesses’ ability to deliver safe, healthy diets to consumers.
Serves as a technical point of contact on private sector engagement and finance that increases investment in agrifood markets and businesses leading to increased safe, nutritious food and reduced food loss and waste.
Identifies issues and participates in design, researchable question development, data collection and analysis, message development, and report writing in support of USG Global Food Security Strategy implementation.
Facilitates policy and programs for sustainable food systems for healthy diets, including the impacts of expanded technology development, trade, financial services and rural infrastructure.
