The salary listed is based on the 2024 Base Salary table and will be augmented by locality pay as authorized for the duty location of the position.
Agency Employees; this job is open to current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) employees serving under a career or career conditional appointment in the competitive service and eligible displaced and surplus DOJ employees in the local commuting area may apply. Current DEA GS-14 employees may also apply for this position as a noncompetitive eligible.

The Supervisory Diversion Investigator (Group Supervisor) position is open in the following locations:
GS-14: Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level or pay band in the Federal service that includes performing the following duties: 1) Planning, conducting, and overseeing investigations involving a vast range of subjects that encompass large, complex, and multi-mission organizations and can lead to cases of multi-jurisdictional, national, or international significance; 2) Overseeing development of investigations, statistical data, and reports to evaluate and determine goals and objectives; 3) Planning subordinate work assignments, and setting priorities and deadlines; and 4) Using breadth of technical and investigative knowledge, skills, and tools to discern and resolve conflicting facts or evidence.
