As a Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-11, you will perform program policy work related to national health insurance programs.
Summary
This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO), Marketplace Plan Management Group (MPMG), Division of Strategic Stakeholder Engagement & Operations (DSSEO).
As a Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-11, you will perform program policy work related to national health insurance programs.
Analyzes and interprets Federal regulations, policy statements, and other program guidance.
Works with States, other key stakeholders, and CMS staff to identify and address evolving program issues or to provide guidance on programmatic matters.
Establishes and maintains relationships with staff within and outside the organization to resolve problems pertaining to program policies.
Prepares and coordinates a variety of written products, including position papers and briefing materials for senior officials to use as background information on program policy related activities.

Qualifications

Combination of Experience and Education: Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the GS-09 grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at the grade GS-11.
