Qualifications
0151 Music Teacher (Elementary)
A major in music or a minimum of 24 semester hours in music is required. Coursework must include a methods course in teaching music at the elementary level. A minimum of 9 upper level semester hours in music is required.
All educators applying for elementary classroom teaching positions must possess 24 semester hours of elementary education course work, inclusive of the required elementary methods.
