Duties

Help
  • Provide procurement strategies and requirement interpretation for major Army Software Factory IT projects and programs.
  • Integrate the technical and budget requirements for current and future acquisitions initiatives.
  • Monitor contract and budget performance for organizational programs/projects.
  • Collaborate in contracting management and policy development.
  • Prepare and process contractual forms and memos, government estimates, and acquisition requirements packages (ARP).

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • Term employment is subject to a one-year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights.
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) up to 25% of the duty time is required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1) Reviewing contractor performance and/or deliverables for conformance to contract requirements; 2) Providing budget input to support current/future business operations; and 3) Advising leadership/stakeholders on program/project status/ health checks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).




Education

PAY RANGE INCLUDES $125,514-$167,320. THE SELECTEE WILL BE NOTIFIED WHEN THE POSITION IS TRANSITIONED INTO AFC STRL MOD DEMO PAY BAND.
