If selected for the Associate Deputy Director position, the incumbent advises the Deputy Director and Director regarding the policy on the implementation and improvement of existing programs; the development of new grant programs; advancement of special initiatives; coordination with other senior level staff to advance the work of the agency; liaison to service providers; and representation of agency programs, policy and interests to museums constituents, the general public and special interest groups.
