Duties

Help
  • Calendar Management: Schedule meetings, prioritize appointments, and ensure the executive is prepared with necessary documentation and briefings.
  • Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for the executive, managing emails, phone calls, and correspondence. Draft and edit communications on behalf of the DAD as needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively outreach to partners, stakeholders, the DADs direct reports, and other SES members to gather information, arrange meetings, and follow up on discussions or agreements.
  • Deadline and Assignment Tracking: Monitor deadlines for reports, projects, and other deliverables. Follow up with direct reports and relevant teams to ensure timely completion.
  • Information Gathering and Analysis: Reach out for additional information as required for meetings, reports, or decision-making. Summarize and present findings in a concise manner.
  • Document and Presentation Preparation: Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Support internal and external events, including logistics, invitations, and agenda setting.
  • Travel Arrangements: Plan and book travel, including flights, accommodation, and itineraries, ensuring adherence to federal travel policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

For the GS-07 Level: Applicants must have one of the following:

  • One year of specialized experience at the GS-05 level (or equivalent) providing administrative support in the areas of: travel arrangements, correspondence tracking and review of documents.
  • One full year of graduate level education.
  • A bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement
  • An equivalent combination of specialized experience and graduate level education

For the GS-09 Level: Applicants must have one of the following:

  • One year of specialized experience at the GS-07 level (or equivalent) providing administrative support in the areas of: budget monitoring, travel arrangements, correspondence tracking and review of documents.
  • A Master's Degree (or equivalent degree).
  • Two years of progressively higher-level education leading to a Master's or equivalent degree.
  • An equivalent combination of specialized experience and graduate level education





Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-05 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level.

You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
