This position is located in the Defense Contract Audit Institute (DCAI), Human Capital and Resource Management Directorate; Headquarters, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
Responsible for the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) and applications to deliver, track, and report training and education in support of DCAI mission.
Plans and manages overall system configurations to include defining system needs and requirements for both hardware and software and monitors and maintains training databases.
Performs data queries, merge and disaggregate files from different sources, and analyze and display data using SQL, statistical programs, and/or other tools.
Provides expert communication, coordination, collaboration, and acts as the technical liaison for DCAI in support of agency IT initiatives and goals, and with external DoD agencies.
Assures the secure configuration of DCAA database systems in compliance with DoD information security assurance regulations.
Coordinate with and support the Information Assurance (IA) Team for vulnerability scans, patches, monitoring, and mitigation of findings according to agency and DOD level authority.

Basic Requirement: Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating the following competencies appropriate to, or above, the level of this position. In addition to meeting the basic requirement, qualified applicants must possess: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade GS-12 within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience includes identifying and evaluating alternative solutions to information management issues related to existing and new IT systems, improving and automating business processes, systems analysis, database management, and/or data analysis and reporting using SQL, statistical programs, and other tools.
