Duties

Help

As an SUPV IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN), GS-2210-12, you may be expected to accomplish the following:

  • Analyzes requirements and establishes plans of action for improving IT applications.
  • Performs as plans and policy advisor to functional users of information technology.
  • Plans and develops methods, procedures, policies, and techniques concerning telecommunication systems.
  • Implements IT and communications programs and special projects.
  • Assists with contracting functions and budget preparation.
  • Attends meetings and presents briefings.
  • Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
  • Adheres to management control plan requirements by conducting self inspection and staff assistance visits.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Employment Requirements:

Security Clearance: This position requires the Selectee to possess an Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
Selectee will have one (1) year of the Appointment to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

  • Preparing documentation on cost/benefit studies
  • Summarizing and organizing material and organizing
