Summary

The incumbent serves as an Account Operations Manager, in one of the Office of Account Management (OAM) Sections, Office of Customer and Stakeholder Engagement (QC), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), General Services Administration (GSA). Organizationally known as Branch Chief. 

Location of Position: This is a virtual position and duty location of this position will be determined upon selection.

Help

  • Leads the overall administration management and supervision of the branch.

  • Identifies developmental and training needs of employees and provides for needed development and training.

  • Develops and facilitates the customer account planning process across FAS.

  • Organizes business development strategies that integrate to support the corporate FAS stakeholder goals.

  • Responsible for improving methods and techniques for maintaining a high level of service to all customer activities.
  • Ensures that guidance and decisions are within policy, directives and organizational operating procedures.
  • Coordinates with other GSA customer facing organizational elements to develop GSA account strategies for key enterprise accounts.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $116,393.00 per year.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized Experience:

Specialized experience is experience performing strategic planning, financial oversight and/or implementation of programs related to market research, training techniques, customer service and business development concepts. Such experience must have included client and customer interface across all levels for the purpose of developing new business markets; creating and maintaining new customer relationships; and developing, executing and monitoring strategic plans and business processes that align with program and agency goals and performance measures.

  • Skilled in providing requirements and descriptions of the work to be accomplished and sets work schedules, deadlines, and standards of acceptable work.

  • Skilled in providing service, research and analytics to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle inquiries from customer agencies.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively.
