Help
  • Planning, preparing, directing, managing, and supporting a large- scale program of field data collection operation, i.e. survey, census, etc.
  • Develop staff for succession planning including team building, and the maintenance of highly effective and efficient field workforce.
  • Implementing and managing of administrative rules, regulations, and policies for payroll and personnel for recruiting, hiring, retaining, and paying a large, decentralized field staff.
  • Planning, coordinating, deploying, and managing automated systems and property for field data collection

The work schedule for this position is Mixed Tour. With a Mixed Tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between full-time, part-time and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 in the Federal service.

Experience for this position includes: managing or supervising a large group of employees that are geographically dispersed, planning and overseeing a nationwide or multi state household, setting priorities, establishing milestones and schedules, and identifying resources for projects or programs, overseeing a wide range of administrative operations and support services, and preparing and presenting speeches to a variety of agencies and representatives to establish and maintain working relationships.

Education: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
