Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Perform a wide range of assignments and projects relative to information systems and cybersecurity matters.
Monitor, identify, and tracks any system changes to identify possible changes.
Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
Utilizes DOJ's Cyber Security Assessment and Management (CSAM) system to monitor IT security changes of relevance and to update IT system profiles.
Ensure compliance with all legal requirements concerning the use of commercial proprietary software. Provides assistance to senior leadership for all component Supply Chain Risk Management issues.
You must complete a background investigation, credit check, and drug test.
Selective Service Registration is required, as applicable.

In order to qualify for the IT Specialist (INFOSEC) position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
FOR THE GS-12 LEVEL: Experience Requirements: You must have IT-related experience in each of the following four competencies listed below which must be supported by the information contained in your resume and other application materials.
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
AND Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one or more full-time years (12-months) of specialized work experience, equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, performing the following duties:
1.)Provide guidance and technical assistance to managers and staff on IT security, cybersecurity, and access to IT systems;
2.)Monitor, identify, and track any system changes to identify possible changes;
3.) Make recommendations to leadership based on assessment and way to protect the organization information systems; and
4.) Plan and collaborate with leadership on the deliver of an IT security awareness training program for users
