Duties

Help

Serves as an assistant to the hotel manager with responsibility for an 818 rooms resort property. As operations require, manages departments and direct staff in accordance with policies, procedures and other regulatory guidance and internal controls. Implements overall plans and procedures for facility administration, operations, quality assurance and force protection/security/contingency plans. Ensures the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding planned objectives and by executing planning functions that meet guest expectations through high quality standards. Communicates interdepartmentally amongst leadership, with ability to effectively articulate responses and solutions to achieve overall program objectives. Provides professional written and verbal responses to internal/external inquiries. Provides leadership support in the absence of Senior Leadership. Oversees, coordinates and documents all emergency responses. Provides oversight in assuring complete documentation of all possible claims events.   • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position

  • Must be able to obtain a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and various hours of the day and week when required.
  • CPR, AED and BLS certification or have the ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 12 months direct related work experience in hotel management with an emphasis on emergency response.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
3. Highly skilled in written and verbal communications.
