Duties

Help
  • Develops solutions in SharePoint Online/Office 365 Dynamics 365, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) applications and solutions.
  • Designs solutions based on established patterns and best practices for SharePoint integration with other Microsoft products.
  • Designs and develops solutions for SharePoint that take advantage of standard web technologies, such as CSOM, REST, JavaScript, and OData.
  • Designs, develops, and customizes team sites, libraries, lists, views, portals, workflow, forms, collaboration sites, document management, or business intelligence/reporting.
  • Provides technical advice to team members and customers on best practices for SharePoint Online / Power Platform development; assists in driving the adoption of cloud solutions using the Power Platform.
  • Provides enterprise application service and support for application design, changes, testing, deployment, and production operations.
  • Provides technical advice and assistance to other IT Specialists for assigned areas of responsibility. Provides technical support in response to customer incidents and service requests through established EEOC service and support processes.
  • Serves as Client Liaison, collaborates with senior Client Liaisons to EEOC Offices, assists in developing IT project proposals and in identifying and documenting Client Office-wide needs.

Qualifications

IT-related experience; experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate. Experience must have demonstrated each of the four competencies listed below.

  1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
  2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
  3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
  4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

For the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in federal service.

Specialized experience includes designing and developing applications and solutions in SharePoint Online/Office 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), based on established patterns and best practices for SharePoint integration with other Microsoft products.
