Duties

Help

  • Assists in the overall logistical and operational aspects of cadet events and duties may change per differing event requirements.
  • Working under the instructions of the Cadet Activities & Entertainment Manager, work may include, but is not limited to the following duties: coordinating with other staff to complete job requirements, following event operational plans and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner, successfully performing during-event tasks while maintaining professionalism with cadet interactions, and event cleanup.
  • May be required to load, deliver, and unload supplies/event merchandise.
  • May be required to drive a government vehicle to procure goods for events from on or off base.
  • Shifts may be scheduled during uncommon days and hours to fulfill the mission of Cadet Activities & Entertainment, both during events and for preparation or cleanup on other non-event days.
  • Event duties may require staff to be on their feet constantly and participate in physical labor.
  • Shifts can occur both indoors or outdoors, as well as on base, in the community, or out of town.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:

  • Must have ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Must possess skill in dealing with the public.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to reach overhead, bend, stoop, and stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time.
  • Must have the physical ability to use a ladder, set up event equipment, and other related tasks.
  • Must be able to work indoors or outdoors in all types of weather, if required during uncommon duty hours.

Education
