Duties

Help
  • The duties listed are at the full performance level - GS-11. If selected at GS-9, you will be more closely supervised and trained on the duties of the position.
  • Create Miscellaneous Obligations for alterations and Reimbursable Work Authorizations.
  • Prepare invoices for payment of Miscellaneous Obligations.
  • Enter all Lease changes in Federal Business Management System (FBMS).
  • Payment of Intra-Governmental Payment and Collection.
  • Changes to Posting Parameters -Funding information changes in Federal Business Management System (FBMS).
  • Review of Lease Payment/Statements and answer question of Lessor.
  • Set up utilities payments.
  • Record Change of Rents for new FY and obligation of rents.

FOR GS-11: To meet the qualification requirement you must meet either of the following:

You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 level that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity as indicated by the following examples: Experience planning and conducting financial management studies that involve the analysis of interrelated administrative processes, e.g., budgetary, financial, procurement, and property management functions; work reviewing and evaluating financial systems for effectiveness; experience identifying problems and discrepancies and determining if adjustments or corrections are required.

Education: You may meet the qualification requirement by substituting graduate education for experience. To be creditable, you must show that you have three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a PhD or LLM that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the job.

Combination of Education and Experience: You may meet the qualification requirement for this position with an equivalent combination of specialized experience and appropriate graduate education. Graduate level education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.

FOR GS-09: To meet the qualification requirement you must meet either of the following:

Education: You may meet the qualification requirement by substituting graduate education for experience. To be creditable, you must show that you have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree .

Combination of Education and Experience: You may meet the qualification requirement for this position with an equivalent combination of specialized experience and appropriate graduate education. Graduate level education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
