As a Facilities Operations Specialist, you will perform administrative and operational support functions to assist in the oversight of various facilities programs and services essential to the Acquisitions and Operations Division (JPA). The Facilities Operations Specialist ensures compliance of submitted proposals, paperwork and contracts through review, analysis, and inspection. In addition, the work's primary objective is to ensure that facilities and operations are physically safe and work required by employees is appropriately coordinated and accurate. The Facilities Operations Specialist assists the supervisor in the dissemination of facilities management services in support of OIG and staff development areas, including the development of associated policies and directives. The work will include the following duties and responsibilities:

The GS-14 salary range starts at $132,368 per year.
To qualify at the GS-14 level, a candidate must have experience that demonstrates at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience in the acquisition, construction, maintenance, repair, renovation, and disposal of office space and application of the regulations governing facilities and space management. Such experience must include all of the following.
