As a Construction Control Representative (Recent Graduate), you will serve as a trainee and assist higher level engineering specialists on assigned significant aspects of duties pertaining to technical, financial, and business management issues of designated design and construction projects.

The GS-09salary range starts at $64,957per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes 1) Engineering aid or technician performing work directly related to construction; 2) Construction inspector or construction representative responsible for interpreting plans and specifications, inspecting materials and workmanship, and insuring adherence to safety requirements; 3) Supervisor of crafts/trades persons engaged in construction work of facilities and provided the experience involved responsibility for interpreting plans and specifications and inspecting workmanship for adherence to such plans and specifications; or, 4) Experience interpreting plans and specifications during construction; conducting on-site inspections of projects to ensure compliance with drawings, specification and other requirements of contracts; providing input to Contracting Officer's Representative on contractors conformance to specification and codes; and experience using computer aided drafting and design technology.
