The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and planning for the future growth and expansion of the network and systems, including developing standards, recommending infrastructure changes, and managing and implementing network security measures. The Systems/Network Administrator keeps IT staff updated on the latest tools and processes and provides direct technical IT support and training to staff as required.
Responsibilities
No civil service test is required for this position.
All employees must be vaccinated for COVID-19. Vaccinated means that two weeks have passed after receiving the second dose of a two-dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna) or a single dose of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 Vaccine. Applicants who are non-United States citizens must meet the requirements for federal employment. Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed. Applicants selected for interviews must travel at their own expense.
As a condition of employment, the selected candidate will be hired provisionally pending the successful completion of a required ten-year background investigation and a favorable suitability determination. The position is subject to the mandatory electronic direct deposit of salary payment (i.e. Direct Deposit). All court employees are at will, and therefore the selected candidate may be removed from this position at any time if the selected candidate fails to perform at a satisfactory level. In addition, employees are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct for Judicial Employees.
