Duties

Help

Identifies CLLE programs and operations for review and analysis. Develops methods for and conducts extensive research of data on all CLLE programs and operations; identifies sources of information, extracts and analyzes data; develops and documents conclusions based on findings and prepares reports. Supports long- and short-range program management and planning. Works with management to develop performance measures. Implement performance measures and manage other statistical and narrative data to evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency. Prepares regular and special program status reports and collects and verifies  information, coordinating with Director and Chiefs.

Based on data analysis, identifies program areas requiring improvements or changes in data collection methods and processes or improvement in operational efficiency, workflow, processes and procedures. Recommends automated applications or other methods for improvement of data collection and implements approved revisions.

Prepares correspondence, reports, presentations, instructions and/or other written materials associated with program planning and analysis; researches, gathers and verifies data and information and determines methods of presentation, with visuals such as graphs, charts, and tabular material.

Independently prepares materials for meetings, conferences and high profile events, with senior project managers, Library officials and project stakeholders. Performs research for and develops presentations and briefings for management and both technical and non-technical audiences; as assigned, presents briefings; and explains and defends data, conclusions and recommendations.

Leads projects and processes for design and maintenance of the CLLE website. Recommends content, and possible methods of presentation to CLLE management. Develops and presents content and other information and ensures compliance with relevant policy and technical requirements.

Ability to use software to manipulate and present data.**

Ability to identify and analyze organizational and operational problems and develop solutions.**

Ability to provide communication and liaison services.

Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.

Although it is the Library's policy to afford the maximum pay benefit to employees when setting rates of pay, a new appointee who has had no previous Federal service will generally be paid at step one of the grade.

Therefore, determination to repay a federally insured student loan is subject to approval by the appropriate service unit.
