Duties

Help

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate digital broadcast and recording equipment
  • Work with audio editing software.
  • Coordinate production activities with producer and talent.
  • Coordinate program recording and remote source activity.
  • Participate in training new technicians and production staff.
  • Notify supervisors, technical support branch, computing services,and Dalet support team of equipment deficiencies or failures, providing pertinent details.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Screen Out:
Element No. 1, Ability To Do the Work of the Position without More than Normal Supervision
:

a) Defined as the ability to operate digital broadcast and recording equipment and systems such as Wheatstone networked audio control surfaces, Audio switchers, Rimage CD/DVD duplication Systems, Polycom, Skype, Streambox, XDCAM, and video ingest.

b) Defined as the ability to provide production support performing technical functions in a studio control room including recording programs and program material.


Education
