Summary
You will serve as a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR in the Office of the Assistant Vice President for Administration, Division of Facilities of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI, located in Bethesda, MD.
You will serve as supervisor of the Building and Grounds Branch of Facilities to include maintenance, alteration, and repair of buildings and structures, grounds maintenance, and pest control.
You will independently plan the use of workers, equipment, facilities, materials and tools to accomplish preventative maintenance schedule, repair, and alterations on a daily project-to-project basis.
You will review new work orders; determine labor-hours, material, equipment, and tool requirements; and make assignments of workers to projects and maintenance based on type and difficulty of work and skills required.
You will discuss and recommend changes to plans, deadlines, and priorities based on problems encountered.
You will check progress and anticipate or resolve problems, revise and update work plans and worker assignments, and ensure steady progress and timely completions of work.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
