Duties

Help

Coordinate and lead the quarterly Artificial Intelligence (AI) Executive Steering meetings.

Coordinate integrated plans that bridge governance, strategy, technology, and training, and to achieve AI strategic goals.

Drive initiatives aimed at optimizing IC Services in order to enable an AI-first IC.

Coordinate with other IC AI POCs across the IC to enable and ensure the identification, discoverability, and accessibility of AI policies and solutions for all missions to leverage.

Engage with policy and legal counterparts to address challenges, ensure compliance, develop relationships with community partners on the use and governance of AI and data science capabilities in government and intelligence systems.

Conduct strategic outreach across the IC, DoD, and other government agencies, as well with commercial partners and academia.

*Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other public forums to foster and cultivate strategic alliances with other IC components.

Develop and implement a strategic partnership strategy, to include defining the goals and metrics to report on progress across strategic goals.

Engage with stakeholders to ensure that critical capability gaps are understood and addressed.

Qualifications

Superior interpersonal and teamwork skills, and ability to work across components and IC Elements.

Superior expertise in solving problems.

Superior ability to understand and synthesize information from a range of disciplines into policy or investment recommendations that will impact mission.

Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and the superior ability to work effectively with peers and leaders from across the IC and Department of Defense.

Expert leadership experience over multiple assignments.

Superior ability to lead in a matrix environment, bringing clarity to ambiguity.

Superior communication skills to articulate baselines, goals, plans, and outcomes to senior leaders, resource managers, and a wide audience of stakeholders with different operational, analytic, and technical backgrounds.

Desired Requirements:

Superior contributions to areas of ethics, privacy, compliance, and assurance related to the application of Artificial Intelligence.

Expertise working effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including collaborating with the IC and the US Military.

Expertise pioneering development efforts to achieve new capabilities with previously unattainable characteristics.

Expertise conceiving, planning, and conducting pioneering work of outstanding scope, difficulty, and complexity in unexplored or previously unpromising areas.

Expertise and experience with the IC's technology community and broad understanding of the organizations, missions and functions, and operating practices of the IC.



Superior ability to think strategically while identifying and capitalizing on near-term, tactical opportunities.

Superior ability to foster and maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment.
